About the Role
A leading multi-specialty hospital in Chennai is seeking a compassionate, TNMC-registered Staff Nurse to join their clinical team. You will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ward environment, working closely with doctors and senior nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and patient care procedures as directed by the treating physician
- Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate clinical records in the hospital EMR system
- Coordinate with doctors, ward managers, and the allied health team for holistic patient care
- Assist in pre- and post-operative care and recovery
- Educate patients and families on discharge care plans and medication schedules
- Maintain ward hygiene, equipment sterilisation, and infection-control protocols
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution
- Valid TNMC (Tamil Nadu Medical Council) registration
- 2–5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in patient vitals monitoring and medication administration
- Strong communication skills in English and Tamil
Nice to Have
- Experience in ICU, CCU, or HDU environments
- BLS / ACLS certification
- Prior experience with hospital EMR systems
